Our Story
This farm has been in our family for almost 50 years, and we are proud to share our farm life with guests seeking an agri-tourism experience. Our family has poured our hearts and soul into creating a unique, exceptional, and environmentally friendly retreat. Our self-catering units include the first bale house on the farm, exemplifying our commitment to sustainability.
Location
We are located 25km’s outside of Ermelo, an ideal stopover from O.R Tambo International Airport on your way to St Lucia, the Kruger National Park or Swaziland. Merino Stal is only a 10-minute drive (9km) from the esteemed Smitsfield Wedding Venue, 19km from Kralinbergh Wedding Venue and 37km’s from Florence Wedding Venue in Chrissiesmeer. It is an easy 2 hours 30 minutes’ drive from Gauteng.
